Silver Star Copper and Aluminium Smelting LLC which is known in the Oman market with the name of (SSS) was established in 2023 as a green field aluminium recycling plant at the Nizwa Industrial Estate to produce aluminium and copper ingot in various grades. The SSS plant is one of the best added value projects in the aluminium recycling industry in the nizwa Industrial Area.

The annual capacity of the plant is 20,000 tons aluminium and 10,000 metric tons copper per year of multi-purpose aluminium copper grades and alloys, which are sold in the local markets and exported to the Japan, China, Malaysia, Busan, Indonesia Thailand, UAE and Turkey also adjusted to various alloys, depending on market needs.

The SSS factory is producing aluminium grade which is directly used for auto sector (like engine, gear box, wheels) some grades used for alunminium sheet, window, door and others. The alloys produced are of the ADC-12, AK5M2, 3105, 3104, A-356 also aviation sector. The aluminium ingot are used in various industries, such as manufacturing building and construction materials, heat exchangers, etc.

The plant was built to meet environmental and safety standards, and is equipped with modern industrial technologies for the aluminium and copper industry. As a result of committing to such high safety standards which is approaching of safety laws.
